I-YEL participant expectations:

• Must be currently enrolled in a San Francisco public high school.
• Must have a passion to YEL and make positive change in his/her community and environment.
• Must be able to make a school year commitment (October 08 - June 09 ).
• Must be able to attend meeting every Thursday 4:30-6:30, and three Saturdays per month, 9:30-4:00 (Saturday times may sometimes change).
• Must be ENERGETIC and INSPIRED!

* Participants in I-YEL earn an hourly stipend of $7.50 an hour based on dedication and full participation in the program. During the year, participants have the opportunity to increase their responsibilities and stipend amount.
