Come find out the connections among MEDIA, NATURAL RESOURCES, and CONSUMERISM. Have a seat right next to the runway for our fashion show consisting of flashy outfits made out of 100% scrap material. After, watch a riveting film produced by our own I-YEL interns addressing these important issues. Learn about how what we buy affects our environment and get down to it about exactly what YOU can do. With our evening of fun and learning, we present to you live performances by incredible people with empowering information.

Point Reyes Adventure
A crazy group of youth - led by our very own Ernesto Pepito - from all walks of youth went for a week to the beautiful Point Reyes National Seashore area. We looked at bugs, measured sandcrabs, told stories, and enjoyed the ride!

Community Heroes Ceremony
Six people from the Bay Area were honored as being environmental heroes in their communities. ProPs to Stephanie and Dionne for being on the Community Advisory Council, to Dionne for MCing the event, and to Yvea for being selected as a Community Hero.

ECOCAREER DAY!!!
Youth came to the Crissy Field Center to learn about environmental jobs and job opportunities. ProPs to Vivian and Cris for being on the EcoCareer Day committee, leading, and MCing the event!!!

YOUTH QUEST!!
March 6th through 7th
Youth from all over the Bay Area came together in the Marin Headlands to discuss environmental and social issues and learn about organizations and movements by YOUTH taken to confront these issues. ProPs to Dunenka, Ernesto, and Yvea for being on the planning committee.
