Says Michele: "Are you ready to YEL?"

"If you hear me, y'all say YEL OUT!!!!!"

"With my entertaining stories, I inspired my
family to make a change."

"This shirt is so cuuuuute! But what's this?
Self-Conscious?? Is that some sort of CANDY?"

"Buy it...I make you look good...Muahahaha!"

"Don't buy it! You'll be feeding into the media's
frenzy! Save yourself."

"I guess this means that I have to...make my
own decisions about when to consume."

"After the 13 mile hike that we were supposedly
going to do in 2 hours, it was already 8pm."

"These interns are special because they chose
internships that have to do with the environment."

"How many people can say that they worked on
Alcatraz, with former military occupation, federal penitentiary, and indian
occupation?"

"Oh no you didn't! I work with the future generations,
okaaaay?"

"We learned so many things that you can't even
count that high! Like how to use GPS...waaay more than these two!"

"Excuse me?? I don't think so..."

"My internship is the best!!"

"Hey, wazzup! What does leadership mean to you?"

"What I like most about leadership...is having
people able to look up to me to see what it is they got to do."

"Leadership means stepping back and letting
other people lead."

"We have seen that the world is not a division
of issues, but rather a web in which we are all connected."

Afterwards, Ernesto and Michele presented each intern
with his/her certificate of achievement...

...and gave each of them a warm hug.

Ernesto and Michele gave each other props for all
they had accomplished this year and how proud they were of the interns.

Then, we acknowledged and honored DIONNE SPENCER
for the Environmental Leadership Award 2004.

Ernesto saw someone whom he met in South Africa in
the audience, and it warmed his heart.

Dionne read a phenomenal poem she wrote called "Ultimate
Props".

Hey, what comes before Part B? PARTAY!!!

Blazers Allison, Lyzzie, Rebecca, and Chris showed
up and gave their support.

The alumni, friends, and staff, like silent angels
after helping to make the night - as so many other nights - possible,
faded away once more into the heritage of I-YEL.
